Fully electric cars, otherwise known as an EV or BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) use a “Plug-in” method to recharge their battery. This means that the battery is charged through a cable that can be plugged in to a mains electric supply. Some electric cars have self-charge technology built in converting what would be lost energy to partially recharge the battery and giving you more range whilst driving.
